Get your self out of trouble
1 of 1 found this helpful I was changing the glow plugs on my car and two snapped off in the engine. No garage wanted to touch it.
Looking for a tool to grab hold of the electrode and pull the tips out that broke off. I settled for this puller as it looked right for the job. Selecting the right size coll-et for the electrode i tightened down the bar and then used the round block to tap against the handle to produce backward pressure to release the jammed glow plug. It took two attempts on each glow plug to get them out as they where well and truly stuck.Use plenty of penetrating oil and leave to soak before attempting.
The puller works very well and very easy to use and can save you a very hefty garage bill.
Well worth getting if the main body of the glow plug breaks off and leaves the tip stuck with the electrode sticking out.
