Good quality lantern and easy to fit
We installed this on an old victorian lamp post we found in our garden, it was easy to fit and works well. It appears to be of good quality and has stood up well to the rain we've had so far. The only difficulty we've had with it is opening it to replace the bulb. The top opens easily on the hinge but the reflective metal insert that sits above the bulb proved quite tricky to prise out - particularly when you are up a ladder! It's a shame this isn't attached to the lid in some way.
Other than that it's great.

Easy replacement to old Potterton EP timers (EP3000 in my case)
Really pleased - much faster to programme and more flexible than old unit and easy to see the display in a dark cupboard without a torch!
Didn’t need to change the backplate but it looks easy enough to do if you want/need to.
