Best compact ever owned
2 of 2 found this helpful Had mine for three years before switching to Fuji's x-series but still hanker for its superb quality in a miniature package, and mine was the original mk1. It is genuinely a beautiful camera and gives stunning results. If you need small - just get it.

What the schools don't teach our children.
We all automatically feel we're being fed a balanced diet of information at school, at college, at Uni. This book sets the cat amongst the pterodactyls by opening up the fossil record for all to see. Not everyone is going to like this book, for sure. But for those open-minded enough to take the challenge and read it, it will change the way you look at our past, how we may have got here, and more importantly, where we're going.
I'd wager this book will never make it onto the curriculum for the sciences. But that fact should make you want to read it all the more.
