Genuine Battery Replacement for Apple iPhone 6 with tools from Megtech original

iPhone 6 Replacement Battery

I purchased this battery one day before Apple announced they were reducing the price of a battery replacement from £79 to £25 (due to their ‘cover up’) so I was a little disappointed at first as I’d rather Apple changed the battery than myself just in case I screwed it up. I didn’t need to worry however as changing the battery was a piece of cake, just had to use common sense and do the job carefully. I spent more time prying the old battery out as it’s stuck down VERY well. Be careful not to bend the old battery whilst removing or you could rupture it and cause the battery to catch fire. I’d recommend letting the battery drain completely first before attempting removal. Although the description states ‘Genuine’ battery replacement, the battery itself is not a genuine Apple battery so I only hope this battery is at least as good as an Apple battery although they could both be the same manufacturer and just badged differently. I would say though that if you’re not that confident in changing the battery yourself, I would take up Apples offer (which starts end of January 2018) and pay an extra few pounds to get them to do it.
