excellent short term solution to SNES/64/GC av needs
when i first plugged in the av cables, there was a buzzing sound. this was easily remedied by switching red and white audio (red to white and vice versa).
the pricetag certainly is right, though to be honest because it is so
cheap i do not expect it to last forever.

AWESOME AS IT IS, DO NOT PAY MORE THAN $20 FOR THIS RECORD.
0 of 1 found this helpful ABOUT THE BAND
first of all, the Descendents rule. Everything Sucks is an excellent "generational bridge" album.... for any young kids curious about the band but wanting a more digestible listening experience, this is it, with the next words being "okay if you like this album then check out Milo Goes to College, and I Dont Wanna Grow Up"
ABOUT THE PRODUCT
first off, this was a 2000's era repress, and this particular seller was honest enough to include the words HOT TOPIC EXCLUSIVE in the descriptor. if you are paying more than 20 bucks for a copy, you are overpaying for hot topic merchandise. unless it is an original '96 pressing, at which point, serial numbers become infinitely useful.
CHECK THE SERIAL NUMBERS.
secondly, the record itself sounds great! i found the spacing a bit weird because they put the first 10 songs on side A, and 6 on side B. but thats a petty complaint.
overall id say i have nothing against hot topic, or hot topic merchandise. but just know that you're potentially shelling out big coin for old hot topic merch, so definitely check serial numbers.

Colored vinyl is a gimmick, but Fu Manchu still rule.
this album is classic Fu. its got the fuzz, it's got the bouncy stoner riffage, it's got the classic attitude.
it did feel a little bit short; 9 tracks is bordering on EP so i wish it'd been a clean 10 or 11. the whole record feels like a callback to Daredevil with dashes of California Crossing. it's fast, raw, and it all feels very intentionally old skool, maybe as a nod to their longtime fans.
MY RANT ABOUT COLORED VINYL
my copy of gigantoid was on gray vinyl, while the first run was blue swirl (i checked).
colored vinyl is cool to look at for 5 minutes, and then usually you're hit with the realization that you paid extra for novelty. it doesnt sound better, it doesnt last longer. it's just cool to show off to your friends, i guess.
in the long run, color vinyl is more for flippers than it is for real music fans. i'm sure bands like fu manchu sure could use a % of whatever HUMONGOUS profit margin Joe/Jane ShillSmith is getting from flipping their blue swirl editions...
but that's just not the way things work.
really wish bands would just do mass runs of PLEB PLAIN BLACK so normal fans of the actual music can buy it to enjoy the actual music.
