A hefty workhorse
This wee beast is far weightier than I thought, and it's built like a tank.
With the teleconverter in place, the images from my prime lenses are just as crisp as without it, and the electronic connections provide a seamless interface and a perfectly acceptable experience.
My only kvetch is that the company made two iterations of this model: one uses EF lenses, and one is designed for EF-S. Because this is an EF mount, EF-S lenses are not compatible, so I'm limited to my 50mm prime and my 28-80 macro.
That said, it's a fantastic unit, and I'm quite enjoying playing with it.
