Handy little device - but requires drivers
I bought this device for my surface 4 running win 10 so I can have one monitor from the inbuilt mDP and my old HDMI monitor from USB.
When I plugged it in initially i got a driver error and i do not own a CD drive for the mini CD that came supplied. after much searching the hardware is rebadged from Fresco Logic. If you search for that name, the driver/download is called
USB 3.0 to VGA/HDMI Driver (FL2000).
i installed this (after virus scan) and the monitor works straight away. Shame it uses non standard drivers otherwise i would give it 5/5.
The Monitor i have is an Dell SP2309w which run slightly higher than standard HD (2048 x 1152) and this runs fine, even though is has "1080" in the title.

Cheap quality and fiddly to install but works so over all recommened.
This is OK for what it is and the price point. Its not high quality, but its on the better end of cheap.
something which baffled me was the fact the holes for the bolts are so very very close to the main hole of the flap. its not necessary and if you are installing this in a less-than-solid-door, the 3-4 mm gap simply does not leave enough room for inaccuracy and the bolt holes slip into the main cut out.
overall it does what its meant to, but only good enough to warrant a (generous) 4 stars.
on a separate note our dog doesn't like it, but i think thats a review of the dog not the door. Over all he can use it fine when he wants to. 1 year old Lab.
