The Future of Musical Theater
When Robert lePage created The Machine for this production of the Ring, apparently many of the performers were terrified of it. Many audience members and critics seemed to be, too. I found it fascinating. Of the four musical dramas in which it was employed, I think it was most effective in Siegfried. The Rhein Journey Scene and the Forging of Nothung were breathtaking.
Jay Hunter Morris was an engaging and believable young Siegfried. His voice was heroic and mellifluous, rather than voluminous, and he brings a youthful exuberance to the role that's contagious.
Deborah Voigt as Brunhilde is vulnerable and fiery. I liked her as Isould, and looked forward to this production. In both Die Walkure and Siegfried, Ms. Voigt gave a wonderful performance.
It is a pleasure to see a performance that incorporates elements of classical style production with contemporary theater technology. I believe this is the future of musical theater

A valuable resource for the figure artist
This is an excellent resource for the aspiring or experienced figure artist, containing many high definition photos of the model in a variety of poses and angles. A product from PoseSpace, there are many models to choose from the producer, Ginger is but one of them.
