Forget a Wi-Fi dongle buy this
After many usb Wi-Fi dongles failing on me I proceeded to purchase this. This has been the best buy of the year by far, for the price it's fantastic does everything a Wi-Fi dongle does and so much more, I currently have my computer connecting to this through the lan connection which then uses this device to connect to my main internet router for internet access, to my amazement you can use one Wi-Fi network for internet access and also create another Wi-Fi network to connect to this device wirelessly so I've got my phone and Linux laptop connect to this device wirelessly and also my windows computer through lan cable, then the device gives all devices connected access to the internet through my main routers Wi-Fi network it's superb, but wait it gets better it allows all these devices to access the internet via vpn without the use of apps or programs, you can set a vpn up from the mini router directly, then it gets even better this mini router supports file sharing from my Linux laptop and windows computer through the protocol (samba), most modern isp routers doesn't support samba but this device does, honestly it does everything and more than what i origanally bought it for defiantly a bargain and well built device, can customise it so much too. Defo recommend
