Cheaper in bulk
My local Waitrose stopped selling small jars of Stokes' Sticky Pickle, then I found this 2kg tub on eBay. I simply transferred the contents to several glass jars. The jar I am using is stored at room temperature, whilst the other jars are stored in the refrigerator. This is a much cheaper way of buying the pickle than in small jars.

Beautiful kettle
This is a well made kettle, as it should be for the price I paid. Time will tell whether it is good value for money. I have one word of warning. The weight of the empty kettle is 1.4 kg. The capacity is 1.7 litres, so a full kettle would weigh 3.1 kg. This may be a problem if you have a weak wrist because the handle is on the side rather than the top, which puts more strain on the wrist.

Superb book
1 of 1 found this helpful This beautiful, comprehensive book of over 300 pages describes the designs of C F A Voysey for textiles, wallpaper, carpets, furniture and metalwork. It includes nearly 400 plates illustrating his work. Voysey is well known for his architecture, but surprisingly less well known for his thousands of designs.
