old memories
This is the exact same as the one I had as a young Adult and first got into radio. Now I am a licensed Amature Operator and my son has this radio and is getting into the hobby.

M2 stacked
1 of 1 found this helpful this is an awesome 2 meter antenna system for a low cost when you don't want a beam and rotor. I had a single and worked Alaska from California 15 years ago, now that I have it stacked and have a small amp and its a lot higher up it works so much better than my old one did. The gain with it stacked is so much better and you can use it mobile or make it portable for field day operations or just when you want to go on an adventure, its such a good easy to use system.
