I did not want to engage with the hostility, so I cancelled the return. When I messaged that I did not appreciate his intimidating messages and that I canceled the return, he offered to grant me a full refund. His mixed messages are confusing and unprofessional. On a positive note, the item was packaged well and arrived in a timely manner.
