Best dogbone insert available!
Pretty simple install, only took half hour (hardest part is getting the original one out) there was an increase in NVH when reversing or idling but nothing unbearable, however what it did do was quite substantial with the amount stability it provides when going under heavy acceleration or launching. Took out a lot of slack and the heavy squat from the engine. Mk7 R DSG.

Don’t hesitate to buy this if you’re looking for an intercooler!
After reading the 60 page thread on the “eBay intercooler” thread on the VW forums I was keen but also hesitant, however this is a new design from the cheaper Chinese intercoolers and it’s much more improved, following a similar design to Wagners I believe but this went in no problem no cutting or anything, the welds are great, I pressure tested it and there were no leaks. It’s got a flow distribution so your getting use of all of the mass and it’s not overly heavy either. Over all really happy with the quality of this and glad I dropped a little bit of money on it. Make sure you get the included pipes because the inlet is a lot larger then the stock pipes.
