Colin Stetson is a genius
This is the sound of a man and his instrument coalescing into something so much more than the sum of it's parts. Each piece is a living, breathing entity that floats through your speakers from other worlds more haunting and beautiful than the last.

Perfect for me!
3 of 3 found this helpful This thing is a ridiculous blast to play and write with. I tend to only write reviews for things I have fallen for and man down to the finish on it this thing is beautiful. With the option to switch from the newer chord mode to classic 12 bit, you would be hard-pressed to not find something to love. The price difference between this and the version with the cradle had me worried this would be inferior, but the sound is perfect. Buy it, plug in, close the door, and turn up. You can reach the stars or the darkest depths imaginable.

Sick early aught’s Metalcore
This band changed so much from each of the first five albums to the next. This is a great glimpse of what Metalcore was like at this time and how The Acacia Strain was always going to be one of the most monstrous bands in this style for the entirety of their career to this point. If you like them or old-school Metalcore, give this a spin. (Also DL was like 14 when they wrote this! Crazy!)
