Beta and gamma sensitive.

Will detect some betas and gammas. It's old flimsy construction but at the low cost if you don't abuse it, it's worth it. You can also easily modify it to pick up more beta and gamma radiation by cutting the plastic out of the "nose" a little. I'd post a link to my Youtube video, but that's not allowed in reviews. In any case I use this thing to find fiestaware, radium clocks/instruments, and thoriated glass at antique shops.
