Unexplained Model Variation.
The product ordered was a Cadac Safari Chef 2, BUT, the model delivered was a Cadac Safari Chef 30. There appear to be some differences with the main operating control on the unit and no gas regulator supplied, as shown in the product illustrations. This involved extra unaccepable cost and the supplier was unable to offer any comment on the model variation as the item was ordered through eBay. Also as soon as the gas bottle regulator is opened live gas passes through the Cadac burner, which seems potentially dangerous and the operating instructions should be clearer on this point. Initial ignition resulted in a minor fireball as unaware that live gas was flowing through the appliance. Not happy!!
