Cold Mountain - Hardcover By Frazier, Charles - VERY GOOD

Cold Mountain

Last weekend I hiked Cold Mountain in North Carolina. It is therefore understandable why the book is so compeling to me. Being in the area where much of the story transpired made the story of a civil war soldier and his return to his home much more meaningful. Good read.

Altra: Great hiking shoe

I have hiked in Lonepeak 3.5 shoes since 2017. This included hiking Tour du Mont Blanc, Grand Canyon Rim 2 Rim, The Camino de Santiago (500 miles in 29 days). No blisters. For most terrains, the shoes are great. I did switch to Oboe boots when hiking the rocks of Penn on the AT. LOVE ALTRA SHOES.
