No objective focus
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a good scope for the price but the lack of an objective focus (parallax adjustment) is a very big negative. I mistakenly thought the illuminated reticle dial was a side focus, otherwise I would not have purchased the unit. In my opinion; having an objective focus is far more important than having an illuminated reticle or even an ocular focus. For safety reasons it's important to have the target in clear focus so that you know what your shooting at and whats behind and near it even more so than having the cross hairs in sharp focus. Having both ocular and objective focus allow you to eliminate parallax errors and therefore increase accuracy. This scope, like so many, seems well built but poorly designed in terms of priorities; safety, accuracy, reliability and durability, quality/cost ratio and in that order.
