Much cheaper than buying and fitting new lights
2 of 2 found this helpful My headlights were opaque and I thought probaby beyond help but it was worth a try as much cheaper than buying and fitting new lights.
I am rubbish at DIY but the kit had everything I needed (except masking tape) and clear instructions. Use quality tape as it gets wet and the better tapes seem to stay on longer.
Make sure you keep the headlamp and the sander disc wet. I scuffed the lens by letting it go dry but it sanded out and as I kept going the drill attachment became easier to control but make sure you mask the surrounding paintwork as you WILL catch it. I tried to do the second lens one quicker but ended up starting again so use each sanding disc until it is worn out ie. when you no longer see the water going white on the headlamp. It saves time in the long run.
The lens does not become clear until you finish the whole process so don't think its not working.
