Not up to the task
3 of 6 found this helpful I purchased a secondhand woodburner stove and painstakingly removed all existing paint and surface rust. Wiped the stove down and applied a thin coat of this paint.
24hours later I applied a second coat and it looked great!
48hours after this I lit my first fire, all good :-
However the next day when the fire had cooled I noticed the paint had started to flake?
It has now all flaked off completely?
It obviously requires a underseal primer to bond which is not mentioned on the instructions, which I followed precisely.
Not a product I would recommend.
