Yay great an extra long stretch to put your foot or rather finger down!

Disappointed premium brand susceptible to fail after such short period.

Great entry level lens concerns about inherent fault in autofocus leading to failure of last one . Research shows this to be generic issue. In retrospect probably better to buy fixed length standard or long term invest in premium piece of glass. Having said that when this main kit for 2 years delivered some decent shots but preceding failure of this same product in just over 2 years left me disillusioned with Canon for first time in 25 years ( after having invested in 5D mk3 24-105 100-400). Cheap good lens don't expect years of reliability.
