Marantz MA-500 1 Channel Near Mint Power Amplifier. Only used 2 of last 10 year

Marantz MA-500 mono amp

Great amp used for custom design subwoofer. The custom cabinet I built incorporates concealed subwoofer in base chamber of cabinet. Works seamlessly with Marantz SR6015 AVR. Control output of AVR turns MA-500 on and off. Only problem is it has a little too much gain that the AVR could not compensate for during setup. I’m thinking of installing a gain stage mod to limit gain. However I am using it now and it does not seem to have too much bass or boomy bass. Very happy with results of project and the performance of the MA 500.
