  The cups and saucers arrived with one cup completely smashed, as the packaging was not suitable to protect the items. When notified of this, the seller said they would "refund 1/4 of price you paid for the 4 piece set" - as if a saucer without a cup is just one item of a set of four, rather than them being a 'pair of coffee mugs and saucers' - which is exactly what the item description was! I leave it to anyone reading this to make up their own mind about this.

  As I replied previously, I have never had any issues with packaging before, so didn’t have a set policy. After my initial offer, I did offer to refund 50% of purchase price, which I am still more than happy to do so.
