Here's an interesting use: perfect cat bed!
I was looking for something compact and sturdy to use as a raised cat bed in the lobby where my cats sleep. Thought that I could always use them as camping/garden stools if the cats shunned them.
I bought two (one for each cat} and topped with a piece of old fleece and put them in the lobby and waited. My cats are fussy and it took them a couple of months to warm to the idea but they now love sleeping there. The shape of the stool forms a kind of cradling nest around them so they are very cosy.
The height is just right (cats prefer to sleep raised off the ground) and the splayed tubular legs mean that I can tuck water bowls/feeding dishes underneath where the cats can reach them but they aren't stepped on by careless humans passing by.

Compelling: should carry a warning about the temptation to binge-watch!
I was sceptical about yet another take on Sherlock Holmes but soon captivated by Elementary, with its great writing, characters and cast .
The writing is excellent and Jonny Lee Miller is witty, engaging and convincing as a modern Holmes in New York. I was doubtful about the idea of Lucy Liu as Holmes' companion, Joan Watson, but she brings it off ably and the pair work really well together.
Well supported by Aidan Quinn and Jon Michael as the two New York detectives for whom Holmes and Watson offer their consulting detective services.
Compulsive viewing.
