As good as new
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought this lens as a replacement for the same model lens that shipped with my Canon T1i DSLR. The auto-focus on the original lens had stopped working, so I needed to replace it. This lens just as well as the one it replaces. In fact, the autofocus seems to react a little faster and the focus motor is definitely quieter than the original. This is a very versatile lens. Good for close-ups with a little bit of zoom when you need it.
