Infinity focus for 50mm F1.4 Takumar
I could not initially infinity focus with the Takumar 50mm F 1.4. On my full frame D3X. The adapter full tight on the lens and I can only focus to about 20 feet. I cut strips of gorilla duct tape and used them to shim between the adapter and lens.

Power and versatility
The F6 with the MB-40 attached provides extra power (and who doesn’t like extra power), vertical controls and provides balance for larger lenses. I added the BL-3 battery cover so I could use the EN-EL4a batteries from my old D3X. It looks good on the F6 as well. When weight reduction is desired, the MB-40 is easily removed.
