Tesla Gen 2 High Output Charger
1 of 2 found this helpful This charger works best for Tesla Model S & X that can take a higher charge rate of 40 to 72 Amps. The new Gen3 chargers do not charge at the higher rates and, therefore, take a longer time to charge. I have a Model X with the high charge feature that takes 72 Amps and a Model S that takes 40 Amps. With this charger I can charge both cars in one night. My X, completely drained, takes 3 hours to get a full charge and my S, completely drained, takes 4 hours to get a full charge.
