Welcome to Mexico
Maybe it's an issue across the board for a MIM Stratocaster or the set up but I have purchased 2 MIM Stratocasters and they both have the same issue. On the first three frets depending on how much pressure your fingers put on the strings, the pitch can change. All the other frets pitch true no matter how much finger pressure is applied. This is not an issue on any of my American Stratocasters or Telecasters. Welcome to Mexico.

If you missed the original, just wait 40 years!
This reissue saved me $100 over the original so I could buy one to keep and one to put on the jukebox. Brilliant!
