Coming of age story set in the 1950's and 1960's about a friendship renewed.
Very enjoyable novel that just happens to take place in my hometown.

Good read.
Strout is a wonderful author, and since these stories take place in small town Illinois, where I grew up, they were of particular interest.

Fascinating account of lives of colonial era women.
I have long admired this writer and was glad to find a reasonably priced copy of this book.
