As well as some hilarious songs, this CD is part of country Australia. If you love Australia in the 70's, you will love Ted Egan.
I owned this music in the 1970's when it was only available on a tape cassette. The music is from early Australian life in the outback, and may not be suitable for everyone. Some parts are a bit politically incorrect in today's terms. But it has the history of the drovers, the pearl divers, the bush tales like "the goanna drover; and others, so to have a taste of early Australia by a much loved Australian...ie Ted Egan, who became the Governor of the Northern Territory, is owning a piece of history.

The sort of book that should be read aloud.
I have only read parts of this so far. The language is wonderful.
