JUST THE job
Looks worth a lot more just the style I wanted and does not look cheap. One little point the strap could be a bit longer I can just make the last hole.

Basic but ok
I was just looking for a simple single channel timer. This was on offer on e bay at a very good price of £ 15 some places were offering at up to £ 77.
It is a very simple to use device but not of a very advanced quality is concerned.
The main feature is the rotary time swich which has 2 pairs of adjustable cams thus allowing 2 on/off periods to be set in 24 hours. The minimum on period being about an hour which is a bit of a disadvantage on a boiler system in the summer.
On setting the cams the rotating disc does not seem very robust.
The advertising that came with it says that the design incorporates electronics for greater reliability. From its outside appearance it looks to me to be a simple cam operated swich device, as I do not want to take it appart I do not know what it has inside.
