A simplified, basic way to learn and be educated about making Tamales
Thus far, I haven't made tamales using the book, however, I have read parts of the book. It is well written, interesting, personable. I already feel it is well worth the money spent. I made some tamales previous to buying this book. I was really winging it, even though I had contacted a friend that had more knowledge than me. Making tamales is very time consuming, made worse when you don't know what you're doing. I can see where this book will greatly help by simplifying the process. By the way, my tamales, surprisingly, turned out great! I can hardly wait to use the book as an aid to improve upon what's gone before as I think I will enjoy the process more and not stress over what to do next. Everything I need to make great tamales is there presented simply and concisely.

Best paper towel rack ever, versatile for other things.
Magnetic-Paper-Towel-Holder-Heavy-Duty-Steel-Holder-With magnet backing is everything promised. I have it hanging on the side of my refrigerator, near the stove. It's so handy and out of the way--also, I feel it will help protect the refrigerator from getting greasy/dirty from cooking at the stove. The only draw back is that when you first open the package, the rubber covering of the magnets, has a horrible rubber tire smell. Once I let the holder air out, the item was fine and no odor to deal with presently. This minor set back is nothing compared to a large self-healing sewing mat I recently bought with the same smell--only thing with that item is that it required, hosing it off, using cleaners, keeping it in the sun (repeat numerous times)...and it still smells--with this item, the smell is easily gone and I'm left with a great convenience. The utility of this item out weighs the waiting for the smell to subside.

Dust cover for reupholstering a chair, good quality.
