Cute little things
Granddaughter saw one at her cousins and as it was her birthday I got her this one. She takes him everywhere. She thinks it is so cute, she’s learning about looking after creatures so she carries him in her bag so she can feed him, play together then sleep time. Bless she is only 3! Im going to get another so that they can ‘play’ together

Real life within the covers
I really enjoy this authors style of writing. He brings the real India to life with very little effort. This is the third of his books I have read recently (White Tiger, Last Man in Tower) and each of them tells utterly human stories taking place in the very busy and fascinating places that cross from poverty to riches. He brings humanity and humour to his novels. This book concentrates in a fathers wish for his elder son to become India’s next cricket hero, only to realise his younger son outpasses him. It then tells of their wishes to break free of this while also wanting to find their place in the world. I’ve got another book to read of his and I can’t wait.
