Great Canon L series long wildlife lens for very sensible money.
We all know the Canon 100-400 L IS Mk-ll is a much improved lens over the Mk-l.
However, considering the cost of a good used Mk-ll the Mk-l offers excellent value
on the S/H market. The image quality is still very very good especially if used just shy
of the full 400mm capability, say 390mm.
The image stabiliser is not the best IMO. but better to have something than nothing.
The trombone style zoom takes a little getting used too, but should be very smooth on a good lens
and the locking mechanism should function correctly to allow various levels of friction.
Watch out for damaged or misaligned optics, dust or fungal spots inside the lens. The Mk-l is not
as weather sealed as the Mk-2 this is a potential issue for not only rain, but debris entering the lens.
A clean, unmarked well looked after lens, at a cost of £600 - £650 should give a very pleasing result on the right body, and should satisfy all but the very picky amateur, or ardent professional.

Blistering data speeds, great value for money.
Excellent SSHD, Used for video streaming in an Atomos Ninja Blade, The drive
functions flawlessly.
These drives are very cheap now and offer outstanding value
for money.

Very quiet, low power efficient operation.
Awesome little fridge, A proper compressor vapour compression fridge on Hydrocarbons for very little money.
Low power requirements mean I can use this for my boat, run from shore power, or small pure sine wave inverter and it performs like the expensive branded camping refrigerators for a fraction of the price.
Only drawbacks:
1. Thermostat on rear, temperature cant be adjusted without removing if boxed into a housing as would be on boat, or RV.
2.No internal light, this is a small point, it would be nice, but not essential.
Very quiet operation, low power, clean finish inside.
Excellent value for money.
