1 of 1 found this helpful The gap in the doorframe that an XC70 window glass slides up and down in is precisely the same width as the glass. That's one of the reasons why the car is quiet inside. These wind deflectors mean the window motors have to work really hard to get the glass to shut properly......on the driver front window this has resulted in breaking the "one touch" feature. They also increase wind noise at speed. £30 down to experience and four bits of grey plastic in the recycling bin...........
