Perfect fit for a UK 8 / EU 42.
Perfect fit. I'm a UK size 8 and a medium/wide fit, and the UK 8.5 (EU 42) fits perfectly with wooly hiking socks. The ankle placement is in the right spot for my feet, and there's room in the toes for when my feet expand during a long walk. Haven't taken them out into the hills yet, but have worn them around the suburbs so far to break them in. Very comfy and really happy with the sale price. Brand was recommended in The Independent as a good budget brand for walking boots.

Perfect height for potty training
This product has been well worth the money. I found it very easy to assemble, nice and stable, and the height has been perfect for my potty-training toddler. Normal step-stools were too low for her to climb onto the toilet confidently, and she didn't want to use her little potty because she found it uncomfortable to sit on. But with this, she's able to climb onto the toilet herself and be more independent.
The red step is the right height for her to brace her feet on while she does her business. The seat is just the right width for her - she doesn't worry about falling in anymore - and the rubber grips underneath the seat and feet of the ladder keep everything from slipping around. The handles give her something to hold while she climbs on. When we don't need the ladder, it folds flat and we can tuck it away for storage.
It fits best on the toilet if you lift both the lid and regular seat, and place the toilet ladder's seat directly onto the bowl.
