Creates a tundra in a hot humid FL attic!!!!
3 of 3 found this helpful We had to temporarily move into my mother in law's house in the hot humid dry state of FL. We sleep upstairs in the ONLY room where the vents are broken so even when the a.c is on to a whopping 78 degrees, it doesn't reach us. We tried three fans on all sides of our beds but it still wasn't enabling us to sleep (call me spoiled if you will, but I was not raised in these hot states. I am use to eeping in 61 degree weather with no covers). I didn't have much money to spend on a portable a.c. (and the m.i.l will not allow us to put a tube out of the window as most portable a.c.s do). So we searched. We finally decided to ordered a cooler that you fill with ice, with a tiny tiny low velocity fan blowing into the ice and then out of the tube that was homemade and sticking from the top of the cooler. It said it cd cool up to 50 feet, maybe enough for a small closet. I was seconds from clicking it to order it when suddenly I saw this - this large fan that actually bless not only right into your face, but oscillates if that's what you please. It cools off a 250 sq ft room, using VERY LITTLE electricity (no more than a regular plug in fan you purchase at Wal-Mart). In fact, my wife now has to cover up with the heavy comforter bc the room gets so cold! 5 out of 5, a product I would HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!
