It's a functional cam strap, but the mat...
It's a functional cam strap, but the material is on the thin side, and the actual cam isn't of best quality. It'll do the job, but it's not super durable.

Mk 3 Clio - fiddly, but part works.
Have managed to connect and is working as hoped - now have all 4 settings on the blower fan working.
However - for those specifically looking to use this part on a Mark 3 Clio (mine is 2008), there's a couple things to be aware of:
- the cable thicknesses don't exactly match up so you'll have to crimp bigger cables to smaller ones (this is fiddly, but I got it to work).
- The plug was ever so slightly too large for the socket. I sanded it down carefully, making sure to get rid of the plastic dust. This worked, but again was a bit fiddly and took a while.
- The clips on the side of the plug wouldn't quite snap into place. Again, I had to cut these down to allow the plug to fit.
Having said that, none of this was really difficult or technical. In the end, the plug slotted in nicely. The cables crimped together OK. The part works as hoped.
