Totally disastrous events which destroy London which you MUST read!
I interpret 'using' as 'reading'.
I bought it because I read it as a library book many years ago and decided to trace it and read it again.
It is amazingly realistic and the author has a profound knowledge of London, which enables him to make it seem as though it is actually happening. A story of a disaster of monumental proportions, involving the heroic struggles of people who seem quite real in their efforts to survive and to help others to survive. It's a gripping and fearsome story of what would be one of the greatest disasters ever to befall one of the world's greatest cities. It literally puts London on a par with Pompeii or Herculaneum, but on a vastly greater scale. Having said that, it's a book you can hardly put down. What will happen next...? Will they get out....? Will they beat the water, the fire...? A truly terrifying and horrifically real event that has to be read.

Lightweight & compact, but noisy
This machine is much more compact and efficient than my old one. Every night it's on, it takes in a great deal of condensation.
However, it's noisier than my old one, with a pulsing throb - vroom, vroom - rather than a steady hum. We learn to live with it, but the noise level IS a bit high.
However, it is EXTREMELY efficient - enough to compensate for the noise.
And, yes, I would buy another one!

As above
Very clever stuff! Very realistic results.
