It is what it is...

GBC is great as long as you have the proper lighting. There is no backlight on this product and the front light kits don't seem to work so well. I recommend a fashionable head lamp haha. That aside, the battery life from (2X)AA batteries offers several hours of game play and some pretty decent sound from a small handheld. GBC will play original titles displayed in some color but since they weren't produced in a color format, the coloring is sort of random. Still a new experience when compared to the original GB. (These games were all terrible aside from MM of course)
