A good little e-reader
3 of 3 found this helpful I've always preferred the Nook over the Kindle because I like and use the EPUB format over the MOBI format. This is mostly for open-source reasons, though I recognize that Amazon is basically the King of All E-Readers now.
This Nook, though, is everything I need. The e-ink is very readable. The light is sufficient, and adjustable. It's a speedy-enough-for-me display, and that display is big enough (similar to most paperbacks). It's got a great battery.
If you're not willing or able to be beholden to Amazon's ebook format, this is a fantastic choice.
