poor battery life

It cleans well enough but needs charging every few days if you use it for extended brushes to combat gum disease. I brush twice a day for 3 to 5 minutes a time. A lot I know but I'm trying to combat poor gums. it says it only needs charging every few weeks. That seems unlikely even with a less extended brush.
