Pentax Optio 33WR 3.34 Megapixel Digital Camera
Originally bought one of these cameras a number of years ago. I needed something simple yet robust.
Although the spec isn't wonderful, the images are really good.
It's great that it has a viewfinder; takes AA rechargeable batteries, if you use good ones they last for ages.
My original Optio33WR has travelled the world with me. It was also good to use at work, for quick records of artwork etc. I worked with children and was never too afraid to hand my camera over to them occasionally. It lived in my handbag, no case required.
In bad weather it's the best choice, although I've had several more expensive cameras since, the Optio is my best friend.
Macro is excellent; all my eBay selling images are done with my Optio- the file sizes aren't too big but quality is perfectly fine.
Just recently I've let my son take the original Optio abroad... he's a renowned camera-wrecker. Missing it so much that I've had to buy another one on eBay.

Value fridge
Needed a larder fridge for a narrow space, without an icebox. This seemed to be the answer, as they’re difficult to find. One week into our use of it, all ok! A little bit ‘lightweight’ in its construction, hence 4 stars, but works well in our utility room as spare refrigerated storage.
