Best of the Staple Singers
A great album by one of the outstanding families of R&B/Gospel, some great memories in these tracks especially those tracks which relate to the fight for civil rights - When will we get paid, come go with me, I'll take you there the list goes on. In the Sixties Through Seventies Anyone who had a record collection had at least one STAX label album, they almost certainly had some STAX label singles and amongst these would have been at least one staples item, so there is at least one memory for many people in here, and for those too young to have been part of the sixtie through seventies you have heard nuggets of some of the tracks contained in this CD sampled by top DJ's. Let it be remembered When you listen to the Staple singers you are listening to a history lesson put to music by masters of Gospel/Soul.
