Bechet at his best

This is Bechet at his best in the 1930's . There is some great blues . Bechtet plays clarinet and soprano saxophone which was not played much by anyone else in Jazz. He is with some great musicians such as Tommy Landier on trumpet and Teddy Bunn guitar. Trixie Smith has some good blues vocals. Ted Kendall has made a good selection and remastered the 78 source well. Bechet also plays one of the best versions of Summertime on record.
