Core 2 Quad Breathing new life into an old Celeron D Box.
4 of 4 found this helpful Just installed this chip in an old Dell Dimesnion E520 that had a Celeron D chip in it. The difference in performance is night and day. While it is not a "bleeding edge" machine it does handle older games well and with an NVIDIA Graphics card installed plays 1080p HD Video with a breeze. This chip is great to breathe new life into an old machine!
