BEWARE: Underlying Theme
4 of 14 found this helpful I bought my PS3 explicitly for Assassin's Creed, and at first I thought it was the coolest game that ever existed; but once that plot unraveled, I began to think differently. What really angers me about this game is that it makes degrading and false accusations about Christianity. It calls Jesus Christ a "mere carpenter" and says that he used the Piece of Eden--which is an artifact in the game--to perform his miracles and not that power of God. It also refers to Jesus turning water in to wine and Moses parting the Red Sea and says that they were simply illusions and did not really happen. This angers me because it takes a cheap shot at Christianity. Also, the first sign you see on the floor at the end of the game
is a pentagram.
