Reliable, dependable, and inexpensive
I have purchased 4 of these printers, all used, and they all have performed beyond my expectations. Expect to pay $50 for unit (used) and <$10 for toner. Printing is crisp and quick, and honestly so far have never even had one paper jam.
If you want everything in a printer, there are many alternatives. If you want to print without hassle, get a P1005.

Great server and backup system
1 of 1 found this helpful The ZYXel NAS 326 is basically a container to hold 2 hard disks with Apache OS and web interface for around $100. I use one of the disks as my primary file server, the second drive as a backup drive. In the event one drive fails, as they always do eventually, I can install a replacement drive and be back in business quickly.
For file data that resides on a client PC, I use FreeFileSync with it's batch feature to sync local files (two-way) to separate folders on the file server drive, which then it backed up to the backup drive. I also use FreeFileSync to sync the server drive to the backup drive. Both of these are controlled by Windows Task Manager or MAC Automator so there is nothing for me to do except occasionally check the log files.
This means I do not need any special software to read any file, which keeps things simple.
I do not use nor want any other features of the NAS326 except formatting drives and setting up the user share permissions.
I have 4 of these devices, and am very pleased with their functionality, once I moved all applications except 'Storage Manager' and 'Control Panel' to Page 2. Tip - use right click Move.
I have installed a wide variety of drives in these devices, including SSD drives, and all have worked fine. The bays can handle both 3-1/2 and 2-1/2 drives using the included drive sleeves, which are sturdy and well designed. Note : the SSD drive did not seem to boost speed as much as I had hoped.
If someone is interested in a 2GB storage system with 2GB of backup capacity for $250 this is your choice.
