Just switched from fingers to this release. Tried a couple others, like the weight and fit better than the others. Was cost wise the cheapest release I purchased. Other releases I tried were within the $200.00+ new price range, this fits me well.

Nice palm size,lightweight casts like a dream
Skeptical this would outperform my Abu Garcia Revo, however will say it casted consistently about 10-15 yards further than my Revo both into and with the wind. Even casting into the wind had no back-lashing and winds were around 6 to 10MPH. I would recommend to anyone looking for a solid performing reel. For those of you hesitant on price, just looking into getting a bait cast would suggest you take your $40-$50 set it aside to get one of these; it will make you look like you know what you're doing and trust me the time you save on the water not untangling those frustrating birds nest is well worth the money.
