A Christmas classic.
2 of 2 found this helpful Enjoyed watching background commentaries. They provided some interesting information about this old film. In my opinion this is a time honored Christmas classic. The last thing we do before going to bed on Christmas eve is sit down and watch this movie. Watching the transition that Ebeneezer Scrooge goes through warms your heart, and his new felt enthusiasm for Christmas is contagious.
They've done a great job of updating video. They greatly smoothed out both the audio and video. It is easy to watch and you no longer have to adjust the volume and down during the show as you have to do with older versions. The only down side is it is black and white only... I realize to get to true visual quality the original work was black and white, however I did like the visuals of the "colorized" version provided.
